It's not often that I meet a psychic whose accuracy takes me by surprise. Not in a good way, anyhow.
British psychic Gavin Cromwell is one who did.
When I first met him in August 2008, he looked exactly like his nickname... a "psychic rock" kind of guy. Despite his rock star appearance, he's a very open, caring, unaffected young man with wisdom far beyond his years.
What surprised me the most was how effortlessly he comes up with names associated with haunted sites, and how accurately. Then, he'd often follow up with a year that was significant to the haunting.
During several days of explorations around several haunted New England locations, his accuracy was close to 100%.
Too often, I overhear psychic readings in which there are more guesses than matches. Those "psychics" are clearly fishing for clues, and they rarely make firm (or helpful) statements. Sure, everyone will meet a "tall, dark stranger," sooner or later. That's not a prediction, it's playing the odds.
Likewise, everyone probably has a "motherly, older woman" who has crossed over, and may be a source of support or comfort.
By contrast, I watched Gavin make very positive statements about people and events he couldn't possibly have known about.
I'm never likely to "name names" when I spot someone who seems like a fake. Generally, I avoid that kind of negative energy and criticism. But, when I see an astonishingly good psychic at work, it's important to acknowledge him or her.
Gavin Cromwell is one of them. In my opinion, he's a rising star.
When psychics become hugely successful -- John Edward comes to mind -- people are dismayed when the psychic is too busy or too expensive for a personal reading.
My advice is to see Gavin Cromwell as soon as you can. He's on the road to fame, and already gives readings to celebrities in Britain. In the U.S., he's still a relative newcomer, but he won't remain this accessible for long.
As of this writing, he's scheduling visits to the U.S. in October and November 2008. (Check his updated schedule at his website, linked below.) If he's in your area, don't miss a chance to see him, and to have a reading.
